Today we wish everyone a very happy World Green Roof Day! Occasions such as this are a great reminder of how sustainable roofing can transform the spaces above us into thriving, biodiverse environments. At MAC, we’re seeing more demand than ever for green and blue roof systems that not only manage rainwater and reduce heat loss, but that also support local ecology and improve the quality of life for the building occupants building beneath them. We’re proud to be part of this growing movement toward greener cities and lower carbon footprints – and even prouder that our 90 Long Acre project received the sustainability award at the 2025 LRWA Awards!
